How We Do It
My goal is to set you and your dog up to succeed. With behavior modification, we start by teaching your dog new behaviors that will serve to replace the old ones. Gradually we increase the difficulty, generally using food to reward your dog. We want your dog calm, focused, and clear on what they need to do to earn reinforcement. If confusion arises, or the situation becomes too challenging, we make it easier before they have the chance to make an undesirable decision.

Private In-Home Training Appropriate for all training services except Board & Train and Separation Anxiety Training. Your location must be within 10 miles of my residence in South Fremont.
Services are provided in your home. We design a customized training plan based on your goals then teach you, step by step, how to teach & maintain the behaviors with your dog. We start with an intake form. We then meet in your home, prioritize your goals, and get started! If undesirable behavior is happening outside the home I will have you practice skills in your home before taking them "on the road." Private Remote Training Appropriate for all training services except Board & Train and Separation Anxiety Training. Your location can be anywhere!
Services are provided over Google Meet. We design a customized training plan based on your goals then teach you, step by step, how to teach & maintain the behaviors with your dog. Sessions with the trainer typically take place once a week with you, working your dog between sessions. Unlimited access via phone or email between sessions. Initial consultation: $130 3 session package: $375 5 session package: $600 |
Separation Anxiety Behavior Modification Program
This training helps a dog become comfortable being alone by using gradual desensitization. We start where they are comfortable and slowly increase the difficulty, always with the goal of keeping the dog under threshold. Generally a 4-8 week program.
Sessions are remote, in your home, or a combination of both. We design a customized training plan for you & your dog, all you have to do is perform the steps written out for you. Frequent (daily) training support is provided.
Sessions with the trainer take place once a week. In between sessions, you will be training your dog for about 20- 30 minutes once a day, 4 days a week. Unlimited access via phone or email between sessions.
$200 / week for in home session *
$150 / week for remote session
*in home session is only an option if you are within 10 miles of my residence in South Fremont
